Between 2013 and 2015 I made a series of vlogs that I thought of as sermons. They formally adopted the properties of the sermon, in that they took a micro event and made it address something macro - an experience of life that I thought might be relatable to many, and could be framed like a lesson. Unlike a sermon, I am often emotional in the videos. Another dissimilarity is that they weren't explicitly about God. The sermons were never planned or rehearsed, and were impulsively made and uploaded to YouTube. I like how no one asked me to do this and I never exhibited them, and they never were watched by very many people. Their smallness and invisibility adds to the strangeness of the self-appointed mediator between God and his flock that I became when I called them sermons.
